Risk Management Professional
This course defines and examines what is meant by Risk Management noting the special need for risk management in today’s world. A risk management professional provides expertise in the specialized area in assessing and identifying project risks, along with plans to mitigate threats and capitalize on opportunities, while still possessing a baseline knowledge and practical application in all areas of project management. The course covers planning for risks: how to assess your organization’s level of preparation and how to forecast potential crisis situations. Factors that need to be managed are identified. It also covers the key elements of a risk management plan that need to be considered, teams that need be created and other general recommendations. This course focuses on management before, during and after a crisis. It starts by covering challenges presented by risks, the importance of risk recognition and immediate management strategies on sudden crisis outbreak.
